About Me

Before setting up my coaching practice in 2010, I enjoyed a 20 year career in the television industry where I researched and later produced and directed documentaries and current affairs programmes internationally. These gave memorable insights into leadership, culture and conflict, whilst honing my own communication and relationship-building skills.

The transition to coaching developed from my motivation as a documentary maker: an interest in humanity and a natural curiosity about how we individually experience and respond to the world, and other people, around us.

Listening to my clients from a non-judgemental and objective standpoint enables me to tune in to the quality of their thinking about matters and decisions that are important to them, whilst my experience of interviewing for television has honed a style of questioning that gets to issues often hidden beneath the surface.

In addition to a Level 7 Certification in Executive Coaching from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), I am a Conversational Intelligence® Enhanced Skills Coach, and accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) as an individual team coach.

I also have Diplomas in Corporate & Executive Coaching and Personal Performance Coaching from The Coaching Academy and I am certified to use DISC and Hogan Leadership Assessments (HPI, HDS & MVPI).

My coaching engagements include a pre-coaching assessment, regular reviews of the client’s progress and coaching effectiveness, plus forward planning to sustain the client’s development following coaching.

If you would like to arrange a no-obligation chat to talk about your circumstances and how I could support you as your coach, please get in touch.
